Payment Security & Cardholder Data Invariant
We strictly uphold payment card security. An Noor Central College and the OBA do NOT collect, process, or store credit/debit card numbers, CVV codes, card PINs, or sensitive banking credentials on our web servers.
All online gateway payments are processed directly by Dialog Genie (Fintech by Dialog Axiata PLC), a Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) approved and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified Internet Payment Gateway. When you initiate an online payment, your sensitive payment credentials are transmitted over an encrypted 256-bit SSL session directly to Dialog Genie.
Information We Collect
We only collect data necessary to organize anniversary events, manage registrations, issue digital passes, and facilitate alumni networking:
- Personal Contact Details: Full name, telephone/mobile number, email address, and residential address.
- Academic & Alumni Information: O/L and A/L completion years, student index number (optional), higher education, and current occupation.
- Event Logistics Information: T-shirt size selections, vehicle registration numbers (for the Grand Vehicle Parade), and team member lists (for sports tournaments).
How We Use Your Information
Your data is utilized solely for legitimate educational and commemorative purposes:
- Issuing personalized digital QR tickets and badges via SMS and email.
- Verifying attendee identity at physical security and check-in counters.
- Sending essential transactional notifications, event updates, and schedule announcements.
- Facilitating the official OBA Alumni Directory (subject to individual privacy consent).
- Processing official donation receipts and tracking souvenir apparel pre-orders.
